
Princeton Police Investigate Serious Motor Vehicle Accident, Scam, and Shoplifting Incidents
Princeton, NJ – The Princeton Police Department responded to a serious motor vehicle accident on Sylvia Beach Way on Tuesday, March 11. A male victim was airlifted to a trauma center for critical care. Two Princeton High School students were involved in the accident but were not injured.
In a separate incident, a Jefferson Road resident was scammed out of $169,530 by individuals posing as New Jersey State Police representatives. The scammers convinced the victim to send them funds to protect against seizure due to an “ongoing investigation.” The Detective Bureau is investigating.
Additionally, two Philadelphia residents, Starlyn Disla and Jose Dominguez, both 19, were arrested and charged with shoplifting on March 7. They were found concealing merchandise at a commercial business on Nassau Street.
In another incident, a Witherspoon Street resident reported criminal mischief after someone damaged a shed on their property, breaking a lock. The incident occurred between October last year and March 10.
The Princeton Police Department is investigating these incidents and urges residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
