Beloved Member of SCV Stairs Project, Karen Fink, Passes Away
The SCV Stairs Project community is mourning the sudden and tragic loss of Karen Fink, a devoted member who passed away due to medical complications while over five months pregnant with her baby boy, John Jr.
Karen, along with her husband John, were integral to the SCV Stairs Project, promoting fitness, community, and camaraderie. Her dedication to fitness and nurturing spirit had a profound impact on those who knew her.
To honor Karen’s memory and that of her unborn child, the SCV Stairs Project will hold a Memorial Climb on Friday, March 7th. The event will serve as a moment for the stair family to come together, remember Karen’s spirit, and show support for John during this difficult time.
The community is also invited to write personal messages to John, which will be collected and given to him as a reminder of the stair family’s support.
