RUSKIN, Fla. (WFLA)— A semi-truck Accident on I-75 southbound in Ruskin, Florida, early Thursday morning, resulted in a massive beer spill. Over 44,000 pounds of Busch Light beer was being transported when the truck overturned into the median.
The accident occurred at mile marker 236 around 2:43 a.m. and prompted a response from troopers. The driver of the semi-truck was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover.
The exit ramp is currently blocked as crews work to clean up the spill. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is investigating the incident, and more information will be released as it becomes available.
