Tallahassee Police Investigate Shooting Incident on Tucker Street
A shooting incident occurred near the 1000 block of Tucker Street in Tallahassee at approximately 10:45 a.m. According to the Tallahassee Police Department (TPD), one person was transported to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
As part of the investigation, a gray pickup truck was identified as potentially related to the shooting. The vehicle was later located at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Thomasville Road and impounded for further analysis.
TPD officials dismissed social media rumors of an active shooter incident at TMH Northeast and Governors Square Boulevard, stating that these claims were unfounded.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities assure the public that there is no immediate threat.
