Chula Vista, CA – Authorities have reported a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a Ford F-150 that has left a 17-year-old motorcyclist with serious injuries.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred when the motorcycle, traveling north, collided with the truck, which was turning east. The impact was severe, ejecting the teenager from the motorcycle. Tragically, the victim was then struck by another vehicle.
Emergency responders rushed the teenager to a nearby hospital, where they are receiving treatment for their critical injuries.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident, but preliminary findings indicate that neither substance involvement nor reckless driving appear to be contributing factors.
