According to police, the shooting occurred just before 8 p.m. on Lakeshore Drive, near Cumberland Farms. Preliminary investigations suggest that the incident was isolated and targeted, with the search for suspects currently underway.
In a related development, a Wakefield Police Department cruiser was seen arriving at a residence on Lakeshore Drive early Wednesday morning. An individual was dropped off at the location and subsequently left the area in a parked vehicle.
Public records indicate that a person named Isaiah Sautier resides at the address. Notably, court documents reveal that an individual with the same name was scheduled to testify in a jury trial on Wednesday, stemming from a 2021 arrest in Malden on charges of accessory to murder after the fact.
