
Fatal Three-Vehicle Crash on Brooks Road in Henrietta
A fatal three-vehicle collision on Brooks Road in Henrietta, Monroe County, resulted in the death of one adult and left three others, including two young children, with serious injuries.
According to Captain Christopher Fay of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 3:10 p.m. on Monday, prompting a swift response from emergency services.
“It is a very serious accident, and our hearts go out to the families involved and the victims of the crash,” Fay said during a news briefing.
The incident led to the closure of Brooks Road for several hours as deputies conducted a thorough investigation at the scene. However, the cause of the collision remains unclear and is currently under investigation.
Brooks Road, which connects West Henrietta and East River roads, is located just north of the New York state Thruway. Authorities have not released further details on the crash, including the names of those involved.
