Samuel Jarrett Killian Death-Obituary: Motorcycle Tragedy on NC 16 Claims One Life
Alexander County was shaken by a fatal motorcycle crash on Friday, March 28, 2025, at approximately 5:40 p.m. The incident occurred on NC 16 at Millersville Road, where a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with a 2007 Audi A4.
The crash claimed the life of 35-year-old Samuel Jarrett Killian from Taylorsville, a devoted member of the community. Killian and a passenger were thrown from the motorcycle, and despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The passenger’s fight for life continues at a nearby hospital, where they remain in critical condition. Miraculously, the driver of the Audi, 18-year-old Lane Neal Tevepaugh from Taylorsville, escaped the crash unharmed.
