Fatal Brooklyn Crash: 3 Killed, 9 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Accident
A multi-vehicle crash occurred on Saturday in Gravesend, Brooklyn, resulting in the deaths of two children and one adult. Emergency services responded to the scene on Ocean Parkway near Quentin Road at 1:04 p.m.
Two vehicles were involved: a Toyota Camry and an Audi. 9 people were injured, including 5 children. The victims who lost their lives were pedestrians.
2 children and 1 adult were pronounced dead at Maimonides Hospital. 1 child is in critical condition. 3 passengers in the Toyota Camry (including 2 children) were taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition. The Audi’s driver was transported to NYU Langone Brooklyn Hospital in stable condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Police are working to piece together the events leading up to the incident.
